 WHY DO PEOPLE GET ANGRY & HOW SHOULD YOU MANAGE ANGER ?


Anger ,like I defined at my recent television interview,is an reactive ,negative,irrational ,not-well-thought out ,not-well-informed emotional outburst that signals or indicates any of the following: 


1

someone has crossed your boundary 

2

you have given someone an undeserved seat in your life 


3.

you have trusted someone without testing them first 



The truth is that,it is people closest to us that “gets us” angry the most 


Anger is us reacting (negatively) to something or someone we are to respond (positive ,rational ,well-thought out ,well-informed approach)  to 



Every anger is a transferred emotion on others (like I tweeted @doctormichaels some weeks ago ). 

So the next time someone directs an emotional outburst at you ,just know it’s not personal . 

They are only angry at themselves 



Anger takes place when you look or read an unpleasant situation wrongly . 

It takes place when you focus only on the bad aspect of a situation 


Does anger change anything ?

Nope! 


Lest I forget ,don’t mix up anger with motivation from  within 


You must have heard of the saying “Get angry with yourself “ (paraphrased) 


It’s usually directed at laidback people 


What they actually mean is “Get dissatisfied with your current state & get motivated so that you can make progress or get things done” 


Anger destroys people via the effect of negative emotions on one’s physical body & life 


Motivation uplifts people via effect of  the generation of positive emotions on people’s bodies and lives 


HOW TO PREVENT OR MANAGE ANGER ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿพ


Let’s go back to the first few lines of this write-up 


The answers lie there 


  • test people in a particular area to see if you could  trust them in that particular area 
  • define your boundaries to yourself & people that try to come into your life 
  • Let trust come first before giving anyone a seat in your life . Your trust must be earned 
  • Always focus only on the positive side of people & situations . It calms you down ; stirs up gratitude and enables you you to become objective in your decisions 


Take charge of your life
